  • This record is based on the Ruth Crawford Seeger book of the same name. Each song, in order! Among the 53 songs included are “Bright Morning Stars are Rising” and Sonya singing beautiful and unique versions of “The Blessings of Mary” and “Twelve Days of Christmas.”

  • Ruth Crawford Seeger raised her children on these songs, which she gathered for her Animal Folk Songs for Children song book. This is just wonderful and amazing family music! Sonya designed the cover and packaging for the CD, and really loved singing and having a project with her mom Penny and extended family.
